My Two Cents
From Start to Finish, I loved how the boy, named Santiago, was “tested” and how peacefully and gracefully he overcame each test. In the book “The Way of the Superior Man…”, it teaches anyone that if a man cannot “understand” his woman, he will not understand life. Santiago sets out to find his purpose in life and as always, one finds distractions and lessons learned along the way. One of those lessons that I learned that I can finally put to rest was that of why God helps “these people” and helps “those people” yet both sides are doing harm to everyone else. It not only speaks to you, as if you are the student, but it also paints vivid moving pictures for you to see yourself to take on that journey.
I recommend having paper and pen next to you when reading it because questions will arise and you’ll want to jot those down immediately. You’ll see ;)
Summary
A Boy must wander through the vicissitudes of life in order to understand
that he has been sitting on the “pot of gold” the entire time.
